Gardners’ Question Time in Dartmouth 2015

Gardeners’ Question Time attracted a large and lively audience of green-fingered enthusiasts to the Guildhall, Dartmouth (see photo), on Monday 2 March when two programmes for the popular BBC Radio 4 series were recorded. The first was broadcast on Friday 13 March, the second on Friday 1 May at 3pm, repeated on Sunday 3 May at 2pm. You can listen to them on the Radio 4 website.

The team of garden celebrities pictured below was composed of Anne Swithinbank, Bunny Guinness and Matthew Wilson, chaired by Peter Gibbs, and hosted by Dartmouth Green Partnerships. The team fielded questions from a range of local gardening and horticultural groups, gardeners and allotment holders.

It was a hugely enjoyable, entertaining, informative evening – with some thought provoking and important issues raised. It should put Dartmouth and district on the green map.
